Pass Thru is hard to watch. Neil’s first three films were honest attempts to make a real movie. Pass Thru marks the move into Neil’s self-awareness, which is much more obvious in Twisted Pair and in his soon to be released, “Cade the tortured crossing.”
Where there was a certain charm in the crude effects, horrible dialog and poor quality all around, Pass Thru doesn’t even attempt to be a real movie.
